MaxxHorn is much more than a single point source driver in a horn loudspeaker. It would be a total waste of our time to market merely another 'me too,' product. MaxxHorn is a full range 'detail' loudspeaker, a 'musician's loudspeaker' with the coherence, dynamics, subtle nuances, and textures, that musicians recognize and appreciate. Vocalists project from a whole person(s) not merely from a head or a mouth; percussion instruments are quick, dynamic, tonally correct, and properly scaled in the recreated sound-stage; Holographic-High Definition best describes the results of years of MaxxHorn development and voicing.

MaxxHorn's unique high efficiency (>100db) wide-bandwidth tractrix horn, results in quality, detailed, bass performance to 45Hz, courtesy of proprietary BASSMAXX Technology. Without quick and detailed bass, deeper bass extension claims are meaningless. MaxxHorn is a limited production loudspeaker. Each pair of MaxxHorn's is handcrafted, and then voiced, with a particular passionate audio enthusiast in mind.

Most recently, the company has entered into discussions to add a few carefully selected dealers with an established customer base, and solid product lines, which complement our loudspeakers. We will protect our new dealers... there will be no direct company or Internet sales into protected regions. The MaxxHorn Immersion was introduced at T.H.E. SHOW in 2006. The New MaxxHorn Lumination for 2008, is our Flagship model. Here's a quick update of the buzz we created:

"My verdict: We were witness to the most incredible 5-inch driver-based horn system in memory. One of the best-sounding rooms."
- Constantine Soo (Publisher/Editor, DAGOGO)

"...the sound was very smooth and detailed with an effortless presentation."
- Craig (Craigy G) Fitzpatrick (Music Critic, Stereo Times)

" I liked what I heard from the Maxxhorn Lumination. A lot."
- James L. Darby (Publisher, Stereomojo)

"These speakers went really low..."
- Dave & Carol Clark (Editor, Positive Feedback Online)

"I was hearing things on my LPs that I had not heard before."
- Roger S. Gordon (Columnist/Reviewer, Positive Feedback Online)

"...the system's depth and tight bass were exemplary."
- Jason Victor Serinus (Stereophile)

Introducing for 2008, the New MaxxHorn Lumination Loudspeaker, utilizing the Feastrex Dimension 5 Monster Alnico driver.

Dallas, Texas – February 2008 – MaxxHorn Audio, an established full range horn loudspeaker manufacturer introduces their latest, and now Flagship model, the Lumination Loudspeaker.

“MaxxHorn is much more than a single point source driver in a horn loudspeaker,” Bob Spence, President of MaxxHorn Audio explains. “It would be a total waste of our time to market merely another 'me too', product.”

MaxxHorn's appearance is not what you would expect from a horn loudspeaker either. Unveiled at T.H.E. Show 2008, Bob Spence chose the exotic look of Ambrosia Maple to complement the elegance of their trademark look.

Bob Spence continues, “MaxxHorn is a full range 'detail' loudspeaker, a 'musician's loudspeaker' with the coherence, dynamics, subtle nuances, and textures, that musicians recognize and appreciate. Vocalists project from a whole person(s) not merely from a head or a mouth; percussion instruments are quick, dynamic, tonally correct, and properly scaled in the recreated sound stage; Holographic-High Definition best describes the results of years of MaxxHorn development and voicing.”

MaxxHorn has definitely created a clamor since its appearance on the scene at RMAF 2005. With a myriad of complimentary show reports and a highly favorable review from Constantine Soo's DAGOGO, MaxxHorn Audio confirms that single driver horn loudspeakers can stand toe to toe with the most intimidating names in Hi-Fi.

MaxxHorn's unique high efficiency (>100db) wide-bandwidth tractrix horn results in quality, detailed bass performance to 45Hz, courtesy of their proprietary BASSMAXX Technology.

“Without quick, and detailed bass, deeper bass extension claims are meaningless.” Bob quips.
